Wind profile in the planetary boundary layer during morning hours over a tropical semi-arid station

چکیده

The land surface processes associated with heat and momentum, govern the heating of atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) in morning hours. In present study, we investigate structure wind ABL depicted hours its role establishing ABL. For this purpose, Radiosonde/Radiowind observations collected during Land Surface Processes Experiment (LASPEX) over tropical station Anand, India, have been used. It is observed that profiles changed from one season to another form rotation prominent low level jet (LLJ) stream. During monsoon season, LLJ played a significant double mixing line elevated wind-backing layer.
